Adorable!!!!!!!! - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!!! This movie was one of the best animated movies that I've seen in a while, besides Shrek. The little girl in the movie (Boo) was the best character. If I had kids I would have taken them to see this movie. 4 stars and 2 tumbs up.

This just goes to prove - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

You'll never know what you'll find when you are shopping. I came across this playing in the video section of my local Wal-Mart and literally stopped in my tracks to watch it. Needless to say, I took a copy home that night!. I have an aversion to publicity machines "forcing" their idea of the best of the best on me as a viewer - as a result I'd avoided this film in the theater. Big Mistake! John Goodman and Billy Crystal are perfectly cast together and the visuals are wonderful. The story is interesting and inspired (what a take on the boogey man!) and it is simply great fun to watch. Enjoy!

Great family fun - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. We are introduced into a world that makes you aww and laugh. The characters are soo very original u just have to fall in love with em < yes even with randall, ya know the gator thing >. But not only are the characters a work of art , the story line is too truly original and I believe it will take a while before anyone can top this family movie. Besides laughing this movie can make you sad and think also. It teaches not just kids but also grownups valuable lessons like friendship and trust. And alltho I am gibving this an A+ there will always be a way to work on the visuals< the fact that the little girl looked to animated got to to me>. But other then that its a great movie that will make your heart melt in a second and ur bellys sore from laughing;). Get out the popcorn and CAREFUL DON'T TOUCH THE HUMANS!!!!

See it - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

The Pixar visiality keeps getting better not that it isn't great as it is. I'm impress, looks terrific on DVD quality. So realistic. The characters and acting are wonderfully done. The baby girl character is something out of this world. Watch the film and if you like it watch Finding Nemo.

The best!! - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

D - for dumb humor - Wedding Crashers Reviews

I am simply let down everytime I get talked into going to an american made comedy. Who's rating these comedy movies... post pubescent boys and girls? I guess if you think bare breasted women, stupid cliches' and just plain dumb writing is funny... more power to you. I'll stick to the foreign comedies, until Hollywood can produce something more funny than this type of garbage.

One of the best - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

what a well rounded movie, i thought i funny did any notice nemo was one of the plush doll boo handed to sully

The perfect movie in many ways! - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!! The movie itself was GREAT, but the special features on the DVD make it even BETTER. You'll never want to stop with the DVD. The Story takes us with monsters Mike and Sulley in there everyday, pretty cool life, until a human, (which they think is unutterably toxic) comes into the monster world one night after Sulley lets her in. AAAGH! Then everything is chaos until Mike and Sulley realize the human, now named Boo, is not so bad and toxic. But they have a problem: Everyone else does think so! The second half is mainly about running all over the office building looking for Boo and trying to keep the girl safe from trouble. In the end, Boo has to go home and it is very emotional. But something happens in the end, and the special features are SO COOL. I love the music, visuals, and everything! Thank you, Pixar!

Sully looks so soft!!! :-d - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

The animation on this was GREAT!!! It was a very heart warming and funny movie that Pixar and Disney did a very good job on. Sully's hair looked so realistic because you could see almost every one of them! so anyways i thought the animation was great and it was very cute and a great movie. Billy Crystal was great :-)

Great for kids - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

it contains cartoons eye-catching and wholesome enough for kids to enjoy. though teens like me might not relate so much with the story line, i believe we could see the good part of it by seeing the lesson it tries to give its audience along with the "cute" characters it has.

Great animation - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

This animation is one of the best animation movies I've ever seen. The story was just great, and the monsters were so much laughing, I think I never appreciated a computer animated movie that much, with the exception of Shrek then. It's really a must see

Wonderful despite difficulties - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

Pixar took a difficult subject, created an entirely new world around it and then pulled it off in a magical piece of filmmaking that was touching, funny, and memorable all in one.

Monsters inc is a worthy entry for pixar - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

Monsters Inc has some very funny moments, and as always great animation from the people at Pixar. It just lacks something that the Toy Story films had.

Monsters inc. scares into theaters - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

This animated film was outstanding. The animation was the all time best ever. This movie is as good as Finding Nemo. If you saw this movie and liked it, then go see Finding Nemo. If you saw Finding Nemo and liked it, then you have to enjoy this funny and great movie!

A little more wax on the floor please. - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

A movie that will be a part of childrens collections for all times. Could be a timeless classic. What was so good about this movie? First you have actors that are the funniest you'll find (Robin Williams would have made this one perfect). John Goodman and Billy Crystle fill the void well. It is a childrens movie made for children of all ages, unlike Cat and the Hat which was an absolute outrage. For a movie to transcend times it really must appeal to all generations and this one will bind to them all and be held dear for years to come. The digital effects are beyond compare, to create an entire movie that is from a world beyond our closet doors is incredible. Pixar will never top this one, I don't care what they say about Finding Nemo. Nemo is good but the creativity and time this movie was in the works, nothing will touch it. If pixar wants to top it, with todays people who are looking for laughs, go back to the funny men of yesterday. Robin Williams is due to be a voice in an animated show again, create a nucleus around a known name and then bring in some young talent. This will bring out the best in the rising stars and give a funny man back his laugh.

Monsters are in! - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

monsters inc.,pixar's greatest movie, is a great family film. I have watched it so many times i have memorized it. if you see it and pick a different film to watch this is all i have to say; "put that thing back where it came from or so help me!"

A very interesting movie - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

When I watched it for my first time, I like the scene of the work place, with all the doors that the monsters have to go in, and take the child's screams for power. The door with the pink flowers, one of the girls had escaped by Randle (purple, sleeky monster) and Sullivan (blue monster) tried to bring the girl back into her door, but the door got put away. I like the part that Mike and Sullivan messed up Randle's plans by all the door moving and fighting. I also like the restroom scenes. The biggest adventure is when Sullivan and Mike gets thrown into a big snowstorm high in the mountains that border Nepal and China. It is when they came to the little town that they went back into the workplace. At the end of the movie, Sullivan discovered that laughter is stronger than screams by much and it got changed to "We Laugh Because We Care". Mike got a new girl friend that disliked hime at the restaurant part of the movie, because of the "Kidastrope" situation that the human child was wandering around the city. The end was fine, with the door being destroyed and then restored before Sullivan was able to see that little girl again. This movie gives me something for me to watch and it is a great movie for kids.

You won't believe your eye! - Monsters, Inc. Reviews

Okay, what genius kid is going to be able to follow all of that? To be sure, Monsters, Inc. plays far better to the adults in the audience than the kids -- if the rugrats running up and down the aisles during the best parts of my screening are any indication. But even if they're not enthralled they ought to at least be entertained by Crystal's hamminess and a plethora of goopy, goofy monsters slithering about the screen, all with great big smiles on their faces. Magical indeed -- the way it works is that all those monsters that hide in the closet and scare little kids only do so because they have to -- they use the screams as energy to power Monstropolis, which exists just on the other side of every kid's bedroom closet door in the world. But it's the sophistication of Monsters, Inc., like Toy Story and its sequel, that makes the film a standout over most animated fare. Sure, the secret lives of toys and bugs have already been explored to death, but Pixar keeps coming up with ways to keep the plot fresh. The computer animation in Monsters, Inc. is incredibly capable -- more than twice as complex as in Toy Story 2. The hairs on Sully's arms move back and forth in the breeze -- an effect that would be even more effective if he was based on something real instead of a fantastic creature. It's a minor thing -- and the rest of Monsters' tiny flaws (namely very few characters which have received the attention to detail as Sully -- many are just shapeless blobs) are easily overlooked. Monsters, Inc. is popcorn-tastic fun for kids and adults. You might also like: Toy Story 1 & 2, Findin Nemo & Shrek.
